Universal Entropy
The universe tends towards entropy.
Or so they say.
After the big bang it was at its most chaotic.
Why didn't it stay that way?
How did it organise if it tends towards entropy?
We are told it was cooling molecules
And gravity exerting it's pull.
We have carbon, hydrogen, helium,
Silicon, lead, iron,
Chlorophyll, RNA, DNA.
From the void and
The choas of the Big Bang.
I'm not advocating for the invention of deities.
I'm perplexed as to how
Countless atoms became organized
If entropy is the universal lot.
Or so they say.

There must be an explanation. I don't like being told one thing when the opposite seems obvious.
They say the universe will die because its energy will dissipate and they say energy cannot be destroyed. So where is that energy going?
They say the universe will expand into the infinite void and they say the universe revolves round a central point and all orbits decay, meaning contracting, which means the universe is expanding but contracting too.
Confusion reigns.

I love this poem, Phi! You ask a question at the end that is answered by us humans in a plethora of fascinating ways. The mystery is perpetual as is the universe, or so we assume.

I like to believe that the creators of the universe were stand-up comedians and they leave you with this huge cosmic joke but then walk off stage without delivering the punch-line lol. Great ink...I tend to go with Nietzsche..."Truth, like morality, are a relative affair, there are no facts, merely interpretations."

Thanks Harry, there are many constants in the universe, gravity is one, water flows downhill is another, many imponderables too. There is absolute truth, Neitzsche was mistaken.

I like to live with the "Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle" Phi, lol. Once I discovered that the battery in my laptop and mobile phone runs on lithium could be mined by boys as young as ten in The Congo...honesty became far more important than truth. As for Nietzsche...his little paradox gets us all in the end...but I have been a Nihilist for most of my life.
