The House Our Words Build: You Know Me
I'm in motion again
and while I do still fear the end
I refuse to let the future
take over my head
I'm here now
you can see me
thanks to these words
that you are reading
Yeah I won't live for eternity
but I am most certainly an imprint
telling tails of worry, love and surgery
you scan these words and so you know me
I am anchored in this moment
Imagining your feelings as you read my poem; think of my voice, manufacture a tone; we are connected
We made a home
and while I do still fear the end
I refuse to let the future
take over my head
I'm here now
you can see me
thanks to these words
that you are reading
Yeah I won't live for eternity
but I am most certainly an imprint
telling tails of worry, love and surgery
you scan these words and so you know me
I am anchored in this moment
Imagining your feelings as you read my poem; think of my voice, manufacture a tone; we are connected
We made a home
