The Most Awaited Month

 

The month of Ramadhan is here
The most awaited month of all in a year
The month were poor and rich alike feel the same hunger and thirst during the day for one month

It is a month of sacrifice and piety
A month of purification of body and spirit
A month full of blessings and mercy
A month  when the rewards of all good deeds are multiplied
A month of expiation for all sins committed manifest or not

Tonight at dawn will be the first saum
And every believer is excited
To begin his fast in the hope of gaining
The pleasure of his Creator

This is obligatory upon every Muslim believer
But everyone has a choice whether to follow or not
After all every choice has its consequences in the day of reckoning
