Don't tread on sacred grounds

Don't tread on sacred grounds
For you don't know what lurks around.
Your feet may feel planted.
But are you sure you're still standing?

Don't tread on sacred grounds
For you don't know the sounds.
In the wind, I'll call your name.
Instead of pride, you'll feel shame.

Don't tread on sacred grounds
Only because of what will be found.
A broken heart and bag full of lies.
A sky full of memories that hold all my ties.

Don't tread on sacred grounds
For you don't know how to turn around.
I'll grasp your feet and refuse to let go.
And make you put on a horror show.

Don't tread on sacred grounds.
For this is MY town.
I make the rules and what I say, goes.
I'm a monster ready to eat, and have fangs that show.

Don't tread on sacred grounds
For you don't know what lurks around.
Your feet may feel planted.
But are you sure you were ever standing?
