You left abruptly now it’s too late for closure

You were over flowing with toxicity,
So we had to break free,
even though it broke us internaally.

We're going to blame ourselvesl for walking out on you,
but we won't be weighed down by all you put us through.

We just wanted your love,
Your guidance,
Your strength, Your honesty,
and despite the lack of these things we love you unconditionally.

If you really wanted us to stay in your life, and to walk by your side.
You wouldnt have hurt us and ran away to hide.

We've tried for years to relight the spark,
For some reason you locked yourself away alone in the dark.

We put so much effort into showing you what family is really worth,
But no matter how we tried,
No matter how hard we would fight,
It was never enough for you to belive that we were right.

You spent your life telling lies,
When you spoke of yourself you would always dramatize.

We fell for it all so many times until you slipped up and we discovered that you were untrue,
We may not have been able to walk in your shoes,
but you never even tried to see things from our point of view.

Something in my heart was whispering that something was wrong,
I stupidly ignored it and tuned it out like an annoying song.

As I drifted into a dream I had no idea what I'd wake up to find,
Just like that a nightmare became my life.
Your soul left your body last night,
I should've listened to the inner voice telling me that something wasnt right.

We were mad at your actions for so long, but we've regained our composure,
Now it is too late for us to get answers and closure.

We wish things could've been different.

All that's left to do now is to pray that your soul finds happiness and peace,
