immortal love

I tilt and rotate on the axis of love
a lunar eclipse and I falter
my origins heaven...I cleave to his breast
my innocence is hidden inside his spirit
he will not relent until I am lessened the burden of my sin nature

his vastness amazes me
his grace is awe-inspiring
will I come into an understanding?

I call to the heavens and his voice resounds with mercy
he is in his holy temple
the arc angel Michael is up to bat
the powers that be know better than to tempt fate they retreat hastily

I stumbled in the darkness for years on end...so angry
while lost in the wilderness of my mind he found me weeping
I wrestle with him about his truths
I am as a child once more inside his gates
I found my love of forever

no one knows me as he does
I am an oddity I don't really fit
I love humanity but alone in nature speaking with him is where I'm happiest

he is my Lord I am lifted up
and I am humbled
