Tomato Skin
Tomato skin, my skin
Hesitant, lets you in
Your thumbprint- a soft imprint
Staying, pulsating bravely
While my pain sang.
My chest, a drum to play a song on.
My heart hums along.
My body a clever blade of grass,
Still swaying and sweet.
Eyes starry in the trees.
Staring up at twinkling
Infinite forever whispering.
Harvest moon of twilight
Rolls over, naked with delight.
Your arms around my trunk
Pulling music from my blood
Solstice kiss my lips
Gentle stumbling fingertips
Love, undress my fears
Move crystal clear tears
across my cheek
Drip between my knees
No words we need to speak
Hesitant, lets you in
Your thumbprint- a soft imprint
Staying, pulsating bravely
While my pain sang.
My chest, a drum to play a song on.
My heart hums along.
My body a clever blade of grass,
Still swaying and sweet.
Eyes starry in the trees.
Staring up at twinkling
Infinite forever whispering.
Harvest moon of twilight
Rolls over, naked with delight.
Your arms around my trunk
Pulling music from my blood
Solstice kiss my lips
Gentle stumbling fingertips
Love, undress my fears
Move crystal clear tears
across my cheek
Drip between my knees
No words we need to speak
