Caged Bird
Why does the caged bird cry.
To be free
The uniqueness in being caged in the beginning
Is that it teaches you to be free
To grab every aspect of life
Cause you once wasn't free
Bound by heavy chains, restricted to
spread your wings and soar.
Held down and locked up and told to dream
No more.
Why does the caged bird sing
To one day spread its wings and soar.
To be boundless in the sky
Of life
And to never be a caged bird
But an EagleThat
Soars.

Cause you once wasn't free
