Poem 9 Side effects
Of love......
My mind feels like it’s in purgatory
And
My heart can tell a thousand and one stories of love and Pain
But this time I failed to see all the signs
Letting my guard down
And this heartbreak feels like a merry go round
As my heart is stuck in the only seat left at the top of the Ferris wheel
While
They’re emotionless
The love notes weren’t without consequence
That
I regret the revealing nature
Of love.....running on a playground
