That’s Okay ~

Been tossing, turning ‘round,
My instant fears, like distant memories now.

I’ve been worried, I’ve been scared and sorry,
I thought it’d be over so soon, woah~

Still find that it’s true, most times, I’m still lost
When I’ve been through this all before.

Even when the tears fall like it’s the last time,
The seasons change, like I’ll do.

So I’m here, once again,
Walking back and forth, on this type rope of before,
Sayin’ “I don’t know, just let it go”

Here I breathe,
Something like a sigh of nothing more,
Somehow, it’s nothing.

And I’ve gone through, had to cry through,
And I try to, keep on smiling.

Sometimes regretful, the way it goes,
Still so hard to let go, what I should’ve done.

Every single day I’m movin’,
Through blurry crowds of nothin’
Not much I can control,
Somehow I’m still here tryin’.

Don’t know much of my feelings,
But it’s okay really.
Often you won’t know,
It’ll be alright, be alright, though.

I could stand, for just too long,
In front of all these mirrors lookin’ back again.

Still I look at, who I could’ve really been.
Still I look up--hoping that I’ll disappear.

Truth is beautiful~
Who could’ve known?
Even little words,
Could turn my world, so cold.

But that means little things,
Could make it beautiful too~
Oh, that’ll do.

Even the hopelessness goes,
Once you can look within, look a little more.
The wind blows through the calm,
But the quiet returns.

Oh, it will always return.

And I’ve gone through, had to cry through,
And I try to, keep on smiling.

Sometimes regretful, the way it goes,
Still so hard to let go, what I should’ve done.

Every single day I’m movin’,
Through blurry crowds of nothin’
Not much I can control,
Somehow I’m still here tryin’.

Don’t know much of my feelings,
But it’s okay really.
Often you won’t know,
It’ll be alright, be alright, though.

It’s not the end,
As long as your heart stays true to you, ohh~
You will remember what you need,
After you’ve cried a thousand tears.

I know that, it won’t be easy,
So, don’t look too far now.
From sunrise to night.
One day more, at a time~

And I’ve gone through, had to cry through,
And I try to, keep on smiling.

Sometimes regretful, the way it goes,
Still so hard to let go, what I should’ve done.

Every single moment calls me,
Might not know where I’m running,
Not much I really know,
For sure, it’s always scary.

Even the little things, could change
In seconds really.
My dear, take it slow,
It’ll be alright, be alright, though.

The original Korean song, which is called "That's Okay", is sung and partly written by the artist D.O, from the group EXO.
This English version of the lyrics is all my own work. Though, I tried my hardest to stay close to his lyrics because they're beautiful, even if their English translation does them no justice. Hands down, they're absolutely a masterpiece in my book.

So, I totally recommend checking out the original lyrics and the original song as well. It's a soothing and sentimental acoustic ballad that reassures you that everything will be okay no matter how hard it gets. <3

Author's Note
Both mine and D.O's lyrics are quite different, but the same message exists. Life always changes and does double backflips on you. So, no one should really expect much of you, but to take it one day at a time. Even as moments come and go, as long as you have a heart that will go on each day, you will get there, and cherish even the smallest things along the way.
