The entire Adrian Mole series.
Which book has made you cry?
I don't think a book has ever made me cry.
Which book would you never have on your bookshelf?
Harry Potter.
Which book are you reading at the moment?
The Virgin Suicides.
Which book would you give as a present to a friend?
The last book I gave as a gift was Nick Johnstones 'A head full of blue'. It saved my life. I hope it will save his too.
Which other writers do you admire?
Anybody who tells it like it is.
Which classic have you always meant to read and never got round to it?
A Christmas Carol

Is there a particular book or author that inspired you to be a writer?
I was always into quotes when I was younger and especially poetic quotes.
I fell in love with the work of Rainer Maria Rilke, and I think it was his deep undertones that made me want to be able to express myself like him.
What is your favourite time of day to write?
On the bus. Midday.
And favourite place?
On the bus!
Longhand or word processor?
Depends what's handy at the time.
Which fictional character would you most like to have met?
Adrian Mole. He's my most favourite fictional character of all time.
I always wanted a nerdy friend like Adrian.
Who, in your opinion, is the greatest writer of all time?
Rainer Maria Rilke.

Twilight. Because its awful.
