Gon' Make A Change

There's not much I can do on a scale of grandeur  
But, on a minimalist level, I've got some answers  
I try to impact the few I have interactions with  
Through my actions and through my poetic gift  
 
Frequently I sift through the recesses of my mind  
The cure for life's insanities is what I'm trying to find  
I'm in grind mode while trying to hold onto my own sanity  
Consciously avoiding getting caught up in society's vanity  
 
Hopefully I'm affecting others through this craft  
As I continually toss out inflatable rafts  
Simultaneously using staffs to part roaring seas  
Convincingly helping others to see through fallacies
