Boys like you.
Sometimes I imagine, how it feels like be with you.
If you still smile, and talk in your sleep.
I wonder what you look like now, and how the universe has treated you,
Kind, or unfound.
I hope for you, sometimes.
I want you to feel what I felt, to experience the pain that kept me awake.
Because I was a girl, in love with a boy.
But the boy was a fool, and it was all a fucking ploy.
Love, she isn't that kind.
She will chew you up, and then spit you out.
She is no longer warm, and soft.
Her edges have been hardened, and her smile is gone.
She is so much more than she used to be,
No more anger, no more happy.
She just exists now.
Boy, you were a fool to toy with me,
Because I am so much more than you, more than you will ever be.
I am whole, stronger than ten men.
A fucking masterpiece, a god damn symphony.
If you still smile, and talk in your sleep.
I wonder what you look like now, and how the universe has treated you,
Kind, or unfound.
I hope for you, sometimes.
I want you to feel what I felt, to experience the pain that kept me awake.
