in my chest
love a fault
my arrest
It's still best
I attest
interest
snow my fest
All for love
bleeding dove
not to shove
Fly above
Pressure rise
sans chastise
in disguise
to appetize
Heel to self
a helper elf
no self shelf
inner wealth
not to share
Greedy Bear
with teeth bare
cannot tear
Blood gem heart
in my chest
tough to part
like mere flesh
like mere innocence
in my chest

I like your discipline regarding the economy of lines, Jess. Sometimes, though, it can be too cutting in regards to the meaning. I sense a deep well in this, but the bucket has a leak, and by the time it reaches the top half the water is gone.
