A sandcastle in the snow

Little kid where did you go?
Outside with no jacket or shoes in the snow!
Is it because you are that dumb?
Have you really became that numb?

Do you not feel you feet or hands?
Why do you say it's all barren lands?
What is wrong with your head?
Do you know if you pay no mind you'll end up dead?

Dont you feel the cold upon your face?
Or is this the darkness you want to embrace?
Why dont you shiver or your teeth chatter?
Have you no clue, or doesn't matter?

Where did you go when you ran away?
You did grab anything in which to play!
Guess you need nothing when you run so fast!
Do you think that you can outrun your past?

Why must you fear what is behind?
Are you afraid of what you may find?
I can't believe you don't feel the wind on you heart!
Was your life that bad for your soul to depart?

Please just stop and look into my eyes
I have to see all of life's horrible lies
What has left your blood so dried?
"Because I can still feel that kid inside!"
