Xtc Love

Late nights early mornings,
Somehow I avoid hearing all their warnings.
Clearly I should have listened,
12 months later,
Hundreds of pills later.
It’s the path I’ve chosen to go.
There’s no starting over after you get this deep
At first its so cheap,
So easy to swallow the pill.
Later it starts taking longer too hit you.
Some creep tells you to snort it.
You thought you knew how to handle it all
Sooner or later you realize its killing you
At this point you really don’t care anymore
Your so brain dead you can’t even seem to make your own choices
You give up trying and let the drugs take over
All these strange voices
They fill your mind
You become blind to what’s going on around you
And then BAM! Your arrested for being under the influence
30 days later your released
Being sober never felt so good
You start to get your mind to ignoring the urges to do xtc
60 days sober and you feel amazing
You can even party and not be tempted to take the drug
80 days sober and you start to wonder
The drugs changed you
You start to notice your not the person you were before you got hooked.
Will you ever be the same?
Will you ever be happy?
Will YOU ever be YOU?
