Unspoken

Untold life, held back behind
Eyes of earth colored luster;
Untold secrects kept locked behind
Lips so sweet of honey, soft as
The petals of a hibiscus flower;
Untold pain that sways in the wind,
As we sway our hips to the sound
Of our latin blood that beats, beats to
Coursing rivers, to flowing streams to
The storms that rage around us.
This is the unspoken words that hide
Behind our skin of sand strong
Enough to cut, but weak when the ocean
Waves roll upon us.
Untold. Unspoken. Unheard of.
