Deep within myself

 
    As the flickering of the candle's glow,  
   shadows float in the light so low.  
 
   Dreams and trances all given to mood  
   solemn moments as I sit, I brood.  
        
   Eyes grow heavy with each changing tune        
   leaving me blinded by tonight's full moon.  
 
   Ever so lonely as I sit  
   only wishes I have not to forget.  
        
   Moments like we had before  
   I wish them back- for they, I adored.  
 
   Sleep haunts me evermore, is that you at my door?  
 
   For to hold you tight, that's the wish I have tonight.  
    
   With lips pressed as one  
   I would hold you till tomorrow's sun.  
    
   I hope this is you within my dream.  
   for the love I make to you,  
   how real it seems.  
   And as tonight's full moon comes to an end,  
   I feel your presence from within.
