I am forgetting sometimes how to care.
I am forgetting sometimes how to trust.
I am forgetting sometimes how to be happy
For my sanity, I must. Remember

Its been burned by the promises
That turned in to broken promises.
I've sat  and took whatever you did
as my feelings die one fight or hurtful thing you do or say  at a time  

I vowed I would love,
honor and cherish you always.
But you treat me like my feelings are
invisible..

How can anyone like that
deserve love from me
I deserve to have a love
that will not hurt me
Free from the arguing,
the names and free from the insults
for even just thinking or having guy friends.

For now I will live
as the " best way I can”.
Until I can move on from this
On my own without you
