On the day
You walked into my life
I didn’t notice
For it was a ripple effect
Undulating waves
That softly
Ebbed and flowed
On my shores
Over time
My heart was reshaped
Sculptured
Now it’s alive
Beat by beat
Taking over me
Challenging my mind
To make sense of it
Deep within
You are creeping
Love is flowing
Like blood
