Mrs. Murphy's Romance
As I glance into your eyes
I wonder can you see
the you that I see staring back at me.......
“you are so beautiful”
as time goes by
that very notion
becomes all the more pure and true
in maturity, words speak louder
and I can't get over you
the young, quiet shy girl
has now become woman,
a force of nature,
made from dreams
my curiosities are awakened
and my mind wants to see....
…..all the wonderful things you are
all the amazing things that could be
the intersection of two lives
and the love of a man like me
“our bond is beyond......4 ever”
I am held captive by those words
to my ears,
the sweetest I have ever heard
from your lips to the very heart of thee
time ages this perfect vintage
and allows me to really see
that if loving you is wrong,
you are "still" the one for me
secrets that life imparts,
keep them close to your heart
don't ever let them die,
make them the apple of your eye.......our secret
