naive frindships

It was you and me running wild through the jungle
Two best friends with the world on our shoulders
No matter what happened we were always humble
Never missed a beat as we continued to grow older
Plenty of arguments but we had each others back
In each others shoes we achieved so many miles
Ride or die shit nobody could ever change that
Funny how im holding on to those memory's now
What happened to you was it the money or the pleasure
Think you got style but really you just lost my respect
What we had was real shit homie call it birds of a feather
Now I got to let you go while I keep myself in check
Go ahead and keep spreading lies thinking it’s the truth
Portraying an image to society like your innocent
Only one other person knows what we went through
Who cares anymore I guess what we had is finished
Somehow I didn’t want things to go down this road
Yet you helped me add a couple lines to my script
Building my climax in my story as you leave me alone
Thank you for showing me a world of naive friendships
