LOVE, (Fof my wife)
You don’t hear me say “I love you”
Not often on that I’ll agree
The verse that’s here you still can’t hear
But it’s written down for you to see
Love can be true, love can be blind
love can be cruel, love can be kind
Love can bring joy, Love can bring sorrows
Love can bring happiness to all our tomorrows
Love unconditional is as pure as can be
And your love is everything to me
I don’t often tell you as I mean to do
So this is a message from me to you
I love you, I love you with all of my heart
And as promised I’ll love you, till death us do part.
I find it hard to try and write poems about this subject more than any other. I think it always ends up like a load of slop, just as this has done. But as I did manage to get it down on paper, I wasn't going to waste my efforts and stuck it inside her Christmas card. Then took it out. Then put it in again and left it there. She seemed to like it anyway, so Job Done !!!
