Revenge of a Phoenix

I thought I reached the lowest of the lows
Thought I could withstand their strongest verbal blows
They laughed and mocked me as I fall
They saw me on my knees, crying out, it so hard to stand tall
Their words are a rope
Hanging me and stealing my hope
But break a bone it'll mend stronger
Break a person and they'll fight longer
One day they'll drown in a torrent of my tears
One day they will know the root of human fears
But for now my rage is hidden, like a shadow in the night
Waiting for the day, when it's let out to fight
