So tempted
to swing by unannounced
taking shelter
from a downpour
to be undressed
and warmed by your presence
after all this time,
how would it feel
to enter again
after the years
have seasoned our appetites
to express it all
more thoroughly
than we could

I think it is also great way also to make peace with the past, even if those moments never happen.
