Nothing and everything at once

we know it's not vital,
these titles we've always chased after,
when we should've been
embracing love and laughter
but it's not too late
for us to make a difference..

we know we've been careless..
the way we create,
the things we've created,
the words we choose
and use to spread hate,
bringing down all other forms of life
and deciding their fates,
doing what we thought was "right"
but still unable to sleep at night.

We know we're nothing
and everything
 all at once,
some think this is all pointless
or some take it way too serious,
regardless
we're here right now
somehow someway
existing
in the mysteriousness
moment to moment
never to understand
 what this means
or if it means anything at all..

We'll keep searching
for answers and new ways
to enhance or eliminate ourselves
and this world we've created.
So many choices to be made
too many decisions to dwell on
just live in love with life till it's gone
any day now
any day now
then we'll see how maybe
it was all just for fun,
nothing to be lost or won,
a cycle of cosmic challenges
to learn from
and integrate
into your reality.
