Bloodline (Chapter 1)

At last; they were reunited in bloodshed. Multiple armed robberies and a death count of 12 innocents and 6 police officers Sitting together, in the court room, as the charges were proven, the District Attorney representing the state of New South Wales of the Commonwealth of Australia argued for all four men to be convicted for life, the Judge agreed, hammering home the Cudgel, sentencing all four men to life in prison, the charges irreconcilable...

Some years earlier...

The four men, especially their ringleader John Cresswell Coughran, found gratification in the murders of the innocent and the sacrifices of the brave, the Police officer's attempts in foiling the armed heists so far were futile, although they were careful, never sleeping in the same place twice, never using the same car for the aggravated assaults and armed heists, torching the evidence, switching vehicles, it was an art, almost like a science, an all or nothing do or die attitude that fueled the men's ever expanding ambitions, it was never enough, and eventually would be their undoing.

"Are you lot ready? Locked and Loaded?" Coughran asked, as they pulled around the corner from the first bank they were to rob, Jackson nodded, so too did Conroy and Allen this first heist claimed the lives of 3 civilians and 2 armed security guards, the beginning, the separation from law and order, into absolute outlaws. The defining moments of their criminal careers all accumulated in one (of many) acts of violence and greed.

They shot through the glass, killing the armed security guards, they were depositing over 200,000 AUD from one bank to another, and with a little help from Conroy, (their inside man) they were able to pinpoint their weakest point of contact. They grabbed the money and jumped into the escape vehicle, which they torched and another vehicle with stolen plates was waiting, and they escaped free and clear, well.. for Coughran, and his crew, it was their first heist, and their first body tolls in the death count, which for Coughran, was a very special moment, one he had longed for all these years...

They reloaded their firearms and split the money four ways, evenly. And now the real fun begins, it's time for some Poker. Hours later and Coughran was on a hot-streak, he claimed all the money from the first heist for himself, which the other gunners were not happy with, so it seems it was time to take more money, and more lives... the devastation that they wrought upon the coasts of New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland was unstoppable at first, they became careless and over indulgent, which later lead to their arrests. Not before they had devastated another seven banks, and lay waste to another ten lives...
