I no longer long to look into the dark,
only follow my heart.
Had I only known from the start,
I wouldn't stand on a soul  
torn so apart.
Now I only aim to sow these scars
amidst these flows that form these bars.
Stranded. I've worked so hard,
though now I'm looked upon as lazy,
but when life get's this hazy
it's the smallest things that bring the greatest pain,
I'm lost in daydream.

Goals to be the greatest,
fading,
so though
it
may seem,
I ain't trying my best,
I'm stressed and the best
to you
if you blame me,
I know you may deem
me to be impossible,
and that may be true,
as I've been in and out of hospitals.
Know I love you and if you don't love me too,
please at least read through these
words as I let thoughts spill.
 
I've lost myself to crazy thoughts,
drugs and booze,
as I have grew,
so has my longing for you,
I long to be new,
pop a pill, and my problems
grow few,
faded..
Forever sedated,
forever feeling blue,
you might feel the same
if you had been
what I have been through.
