am i yet brave if i must run
foul of the deed
already done
should i not face
the consequence
if i have breached
your confidence
i would be true
for those who trust
for honesty
redeems the just

LOL -- i just now looked at the graphics and saw the crossed fingers behind the back and remembered that this was something we did as kids when we were telling a half - truth to someone. Not certain people still do that -- it may be a "dated" thing.

Hey, thank you, my friend, Tallen.
As you can see, I've changed the image -- not because of datedness, per se, but because I was already struggling with a choice between several images and decided preference for the current one.
Moreover, that hand-behind-the-back fingers cross is kind of childish for an adult.

There is a saying by Buddha that goes like this:
Three things cannot stay long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.
This is spot on, Cabcool. Very spiritually apt.

That Buddhist saying makes much sense of truth, Ahavati.
One thing is certain: if we choose to play to ostrich and hide our eyes from the sun or moon, we might be able to avoid seeing those galactical bodies for the rest of our lives. However, whether or not we seek, accept, or avoid, or deny truth, it comes alive powerfully and independently in the test of time.
