Finally Free

Today the sun shone once again
I can finally breathe
and let the next chapter begin
I don't feel that dull ache
The one I felt in my chest

I surprised myself when I smiled today
not the fake one I force & keep plastered on

I felt true joy and excitement
Forgot all about you
