The Second Part Of My Journey Through God’s Eyes
Just when I thought I was foot loose and fancy free
The same old power of persuasion keeps gently touching me
For once I willingly came out the pouring rain
Rested my sword to catch my breath from life’s stinging pain
Love letters felt with such beautiful ink stains
But you know God’s image they’re all the same
Their rules, their games
No causes, no blames
Roaming back in the jungle tenderly licking my soft fur
Animalistic roaring to hear my soft purrs
What’s a sweet kitty cat to do… mm allow the Tomcat to lick my carnal food
But first
I have to step back and evaluate my self-worth
A new beginning to embark has been blessed upon me tomorrow
Going for my Master’s Degree, whereas I have to rely on my brain to intellectually borrow
Letting go of summer embracing the beauty of fall
Engraving my desires, my wishes, my goals on life’s wall
As I kneel on my knees
Asking my Heavenly father to please
Relieve me of tempation that assuage my soul to degrade me
Give me hope as I move within this realm, we call life
Keep my head afloat as lessons to learn, do not cause me daily strife
