destruction
(a projective poem, partly inspired by “green frontier”)
the eyes of a crowned dull mask
change into the ears of an angry rat
the foreign that brings a colorful threat
a wasteful death to replace
myths and idols – to wipe out their trace
and from that ears, like two greedy snakes
it blindly starves for the forbidden fruit
that patiently ambivalent drug
a potentially destructive and estranging plague
a strangely looped trap – partly fake
shining redly from the tree
the blind greed is deaf enough to see
to find the tree of knowledge
lost in a rainforest – crossing the edge
by remembering connecting roots
promising a missing wrong
itself split like a serpent's tongue
but that new tongue bears the risk to forget
what was already told and felt prior to that
destroying what was known before
destroying what was there before
misunderstanding causes to ignore
the threat of death by closing that door
but there is no effective cure
to get rid of what stays allured
to heal what must doubt its being pure
