LOVE AND SELF RESPECT
LOVE AND SELF RESPECT
When you love, you wash feet and get servile.
You don't care if you lose your self respect.
Which is much dearer to your heart and soul,
your self esteem or keeping him quite safe?
Let me one thousand times wash your dear feet
and not see you for seconds in distress.
My heart and soul are tied to those gold rays
that your eyes send to enslave my poor soul.
I am a bunch of love which finds its dew
in your sweet smile that frees my mind from care.
If you accept my hands to wash your feet,
I feel you dwell so safely in my view.
