My Hourglass
You are my hourglass
That I wake up to.
And the moments
Pass beautifully through you.
The shine in your eyes
Grows only brighter
As time flies by
Ever higher
The love in your smile
Pools into an ocean
The very motion a denial
Of the sifting sands.
Your body may age
Your bones may weaken
But this life is just a stage
Of the passing season
That I wake up to.
And the moments
Pass beautifully through you.
The shine in your eyes
Grows only brighter
As time flies by
Ever higher
The love in your smile
Pools into an ocean
The very motion a denial
Of the sifting sands.
Your body may age
Your bones may weaken
But this life is just a stage
Of the passing season
