The Rainbow

When the rains come
And after the rains go,
The sun will shine bright,
And outcomes the rainbow.

Gleaming in the air
Its colors brightly are shown
Visible from afar or near
Telling a tale to this day known.

A promise made and kept to this day
A story of love ever so binding
So true its hard to believe
But search the sky, its there for the finding.

In its many colors
For the eye to see
His love, He sends to us
The promise He made and its to be.

So look to the Heavens
And follow the rainbow’s fame
To earth in its glory
God’s love will always be the same.
