it spoke to my soul Ssooooo...
If one took a diamond,
tossed it into the dirt...
“Gone from sight”, doesn’t
conceal the hurt...
Ascension beyond a dreamer’s
dreams, awash of what maybe...
One plus the spirit, content
wallows in emotions sea...
Seen as though I, of self digest
ever incredulous the depths
a Gem a warrior’s soul possess...

Being falsely accused of a crime you did not commit and then going to prison for a crime you did not commit is a terrible thing to experience.

I remember reading about this and being incredibly disturbed. Once they take all that time away, you can't get it back. There's no recompense that can ever address the wrong done. You've penned that beautifully
