he started the day
face to face with a truth...
Staring contest
settling of accounts encounter
high noon duel...
He wished!...
A one sided merciless beating;
slapped hard and many times;
never had a chance to turn the other cheek...

restoration of the self-imposed rule

so glad, my pitiful and fragile character of my Today series,
