A THONG FOR THE BEACH

With my next age decade but a day in reach,  
I would treat myself to a thong, for the beach,  
that leaves as much of my bare skin to see  
while snugly gathering up my male modesty.  
A perfect foil to the bikinis that are worn  
by most younger women until eve from dawn.  

They're easily slipped off for those beaches where  
it is allowed to sun yourself and swim bare.  
It was Peter Stringfellow got me thinking,  
photoed in what might be called his 'fellow string',  
while a topless young lover walked by his side  
on their way to plunge into the cooling tide.  
 
My mind mulls over what colours - black, blue, red,  
or a tone that matches the skin when naked?  
Patterned like flag or in pixillating dots,  
the stripes of a tiger or in leopard spots?  
When I will be of age that sounds like 'sexy'  
and still enjoy most health, why not be naughty?
