Dark nights
I cannot sleep when my bed is swallowing me
When the walls are closing in
And the ceiling is collapsing over my head
My arms and legs are bags of sand
Each weighing a ton
The sand has filled my entire body
Every inch of my being is too heavy to move
My throat is filled with sand for I cannot speak nor scream
The darkness in the corner is growing
My eyes are fixated on it
It grows larger now inches from my face
I lay helpless as a tear escapes my eyes that will not shut
