He left me behind
Behind with a broken heart
Heart that he shattered
Shattered after making me believe
Believe in love
He left me alone
Alone with my thoughts
Thoughts that will send me spiraling
Spiraling into the abyss
Abyss of darkness
He left me to wonder
Wonder what I did to cause this
This painful end to us
Us which is no more
No more thanks to you
He left me for dead
Dead yet still living
Living enough to bounce back
Back into a nightmare
Nightmare he is going to regret

i thought the ''refrains'' did there job,
in highlighting the strength of said words,

And yes, they say it will make you stronger, but after the sour phase, its difficult saying to believe, and live through.
