A deer loves a berry
Thinking
So foolish
Like a deer going to bush when she knows
All the berries are gone
It's the same with you
And i thought, like a silly girl
How you could be mine
But the berries are gone
And so are you
To her
How can I blame her
You, like a berry, are to irresistable
To go after, to admire
And she got to you first
Your hair, your smile, your eyes
Your eyes hit me first
But she pulled you in sooner
And like a good one, she hold on to you tight
She never lets you fall
She keeps you at your best
Ripe and red and strong
And whenever I miss looking at you with hope instead of
Sorrow and desire
I'll go back to that
That same damn old bush
And look around
See if there is any glimpse of an extra berry
A bit of extra hope
But it's gone
You... Are gone
Like a deer loves a berry
I
Love
You
So foolish
Like a deer going to bush when she knows
All the berries are gone
It's the same with you
And i thought, like a silly girl
How you could be mine
But the berries are gone
And so are you
To her
How can I blame her
You, like a berry, are to irresistable
To go after, to admire
And she got to you first
Your hair, your smile, your eyes
Your eyes hit me first
But she pulled you in sooner
And like a good one, she hold on to you tight
She never lets you fall
She keeps you at your best
Ripe and red and strong
And whenever I miss looking at you with hope instead of
Sorrow and desire
I'll go back to that
That same damn old bush
And look around
See if there is any glimpse of an extra berry
A bit of extra hope
But it's gone
You... Are gone
Like a deer loves a berry
I
Love
You
