rain drain
rain
rain
get off of my head.
i like you in bed, not out in the open
where mistakes can happen. rain rain, i find it appalling
that you should come calling when i’m on the town. please let it be known,
rain rain, that moments like these are wont to displease my sun-loving soul; they do take a toll,
rain rain, on my happiness. and when i regress, the things that i say might bring you dismay. rain rain, please
stop, mr rain: i have my own pain, i shed my own tears, i have my own fears. rain rain, weep not over me; just let me be
free to dance in the sun and have me some fun. rain rain, come back in the night, when windows are tight. i promise you this:
i’ll save you a kiss. rain rain, my shoes are a mess; spare me your excess. i’d rather be dry than wade in a sty. rain rain, perhaps ure
too sad: i’m no longer mad; just tell me what’s wrong, i’ll sing you a song. rain rain pls give me ur hand i do understand ur moment
of grief; i’ll bring you relief. rain rain, you seem so alone; come follow me home, i’ll make you some tea, if you so agree. rain rain, the day is far spent: why won’t you relent and come to my bed? perhaps if i read, rain rain, a sleepy-time tale, good sense will prevail. i like you in bed, right
next to
my head.
rain rain,
i’ve fal-
len for
you and
can it be
true that
i love you
so! i beg
you, don’t
go. rain
rain, stay
close to
my side.
here with
me abide
by night
and by
day.
there’s way.
