she swells me past the atmospheric heav’n    
the sky no limit for this dancing bard      
for when poetic paths are thunder riv’n
her eloquence prevents the earth’s retard
            
he, poet poised, pours forth his words like reign
which falls into this world, a heav'nly shower
a careful grace, he dances each refrain
with open heart i marvel at their power      
 
she metaphors above the eagle’s nest      
from whence her bird’s-eye view, magnificent
informs the world with elemental zest
that saves sense from verbal predicament
 
he grounds and stills the spinning of this world
no mismatched foot nor stumble of his form
each metered beat immaculately furled             
unfolding as meticulous songstorm
 
his wholeness is his prayer he whispers ‘loud
in verse and passage beautifully gifts
a humble faith his glorifying crown
a lowered strength he selflessly uplifts
 
sky-dancing genres, her lyric specialty
cool earthsong modes, his umbilical sway
they balance thus the great infinity
‘twixt equinoctial points of night and day
