Water Maiden
Under dappled moonlight
I saw her bathing there
This awe inspiring sight
Of this maiden fair
Her hair of spun gold
Cascaded down her back
She stood both proud and bold
A beacon amidst the black
In the moon’s glow
Her skin an ethereal hue
All of her did show
And a hunger in me grew
I waded in the water
Heedless of the wet
This love would give no quarter
Until my lust was met
She welcomed me with a hand
That slipped in mine so fair
And close did we so stand
Both wet and completely bare
Her lips met mine with passion
Unlike any other love
This beauty of Virgo’s fashion
Who fell from heaven above
She slipped into my arms
And guided my lust in
Her wile and her charms
Left not room for thought of sin
She moved with such grace
Her thighs around my waist
I near feared the pace
Would put my lust to waste
But I held myself in check
Until my lady was sated
The weariness from my trek
Was with lust abated
I remember not how I came
To rest amongst the reeds
But I know just the same
I met the Water Maiden's needs
I called for her to come to me
As the pale moon did fade
But darkness was all that I could see
In this sudden land of shade
Until my dying day I come
To visit this lake’s shore
For ordinary seems so glum
When I’ve tasted something more.
