BELONGING TO EACH OTHER
At night in our bed, no clothing's cover,
we express belonging to each other
in the act of bodily union;
life affirming, health giving, and, yes, fun -
When our separate bodies become one,
heading for orgasm, become fargone.
It opens the pores, gets the blood a-pump
as upon each other we writhing hump,
drawing out the rapid and moanful breaths
with called out names, 'oh-mi-gods', wishful F's.
And when it's all over our breaths go slow
as we wind down embraced in afterglow.
we express belonging to each other
in the act of bodily union;
life affirming, health giving, and, yes, fun -
When our separate bodies become one,
heading for orgasm, become fargone.
It opens the pores, gets the blood a-pump
as upon each other we writhing hump,
drawing out the rapid and moanful breaths
with called out names, 'oh-mi-gods', wishful F's.
And when it's all over our breaths go slow
as we wind down embraced in afterglow.
