Rehearsal For Reversal

 
Monkey-mind of me, of mine,
all under a dome of
                  sky,

rehearsing    speeches for none to hear,
                        pre-vers'ed,    multi-versal
                      senselessly vocalized
               language of some
        grandiose
intention, all wound up to impress the local
         girls
              half'a'century  gone now,
                                         gone again,
                                         still gone,
may as well have been gone stillborn............

The sleepless night has far too many hours to it.

I don't where to put my dreams of past love too late for sharing.

Now, so little left to know that is not mere simple delusion, unworthy
                   to have been a part of any well-imagined
                                             spirit phantazy nearly real.
