Image for the poem Her Stare

Her Stare

Pale skin laid bare against the new dawn sun
A perfect backdrop for the tears of the lonely
Brokenhearted the noose sways sheepishly on the dancing breeze
Suicide greets the frantic with open arms
Her stare greets me warm with love
For what is turmoil with out the taste of bliss?
A golden silence blankets her cold flesh
Constellations of frosty dew star her body
Beauty in the gardens of her despair
I mourn her passing with the days wanning hours
Sihlouettes on the horizon
The tree of life to hold the weight of my misery
Soon we will be together
Embraced in moonlight and her cold stare to greet me there
