Reading this study online some years ago that states most people cycle through their friends every 4-6 years. Critical doesn’t keep up with this stuff anymore since you just get out of the mood to read quantitative research, data or datum on heart emotion. Sometimes you just want to ask someone or people how they feel about something like intimate relationships/ friends and just let that be enough to account for. It was insightful at the time but looking back on friend dynamics…a lot of us only focus on what’s in our immediate circle. And that’s neither good or bad it’s just conventional; maybe but in discussing it with an old friend, we were both reaching the same conclusion that…after a certain age…you really have to have a relationship if you want pronounced loyalty, otherwise it stops being in its refined form.
