Was I?

Humans are alike,
Deceive by thoughts.
Submerge by past.
Changing thoughts to
Never ending labyrinth.

Confused by dreams.
Deceived by lies.
Feared by unknown demise.
Terminated by reality.

In the end, who am I?
Have no rights to control.
Yet, saving them with words
and, life-threatening actions.

Who am I?
It hurts to see people suffer.
Yet, did not know.
I was too.
