Open Your Eyes
Dissipating in darkness
No where to be seen
The reason I hide
Is ‘cause the world is mean.
I hide from the cruelty
I hide from the shame
I hide from the heartache
And all of the pain.
Will we ever change?
Or will we stay the same?
We need to realize
That we should be ashamed.
The flames of torment
Boil from within
These people think they are perfect
But all they do is sin.
Lucifer is feeding
Off the terror and the lies
We need to run from his clutches
And open our eyes.
Open your eyes and see
The lives we all continue to lead.
Nothing but sin and pain
Turning us all insane.

it tells almost perfectly of what humans are curently living like and what we constantly do to our selvs and the planet. We are a cruel race.
